Qualcomm teasing new Snapdragon 800-powered smartphone for CES

Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 device tease

Qualcomm has taken to Facebook to tease a new device that will be unveiled at CES. This device will be powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor, which is a bit old but still competent. It’s possible that Qualcomm was referring to an 800 series processor as well, but we won’t know until announcements are made.

The device looks to be built by LG, as the rear button layout is identical to the last few LG devices. With the power and volume buttons on the back, it’s likely we’ll see this device unveiled by LG at CES next week.

CES would be a strange time to unveil the next LG flagship, so it’s probably a device other than the LG G4. Even so, it would be great to see the G4 a bit early with a brand new Snapdragon 810. What do you guys think about this teaser? Are you excited? Let us know in the comments!

I wish LG Would return the power button back to the right hand side of the handset.
