Samsung Galaxy Note Edge next device to get Lollipop update

galaxynoteedgetitle

With the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 getting some Lollipop goodness, it would be unwise of Samsung to ignore its latest weird device. Thus, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is now receiving its own Lollipop update in Australia, bringing Material Design and some improvements in speed.

The update itself is almost 1GB in size, so make sure you’re on WiFi when you start the download. And as for the install, it’ll require 3GB of free space for installation, so if you have a nearly full device, it’s time to start cleaning it out.

Getting Lollipop should be a great improvement to the curved device, so if you’re in Australia, get downloading! For everyone else, it should be rolling out fairly soon to unlocked devices. As for U.S. customers, we might have to wait a little longer.
