LG has begun teasing the upcoming G4 in preparation for its event on April 28. This latest teaser video doesn’t reveal much, but it does give us a peek at the camera of the LG G4 and reveals a key detail about it: an f/1.8 aperture. For those unfamiliar, an f/1.8 aperture is quite wide, allowing in more light for improved low-light shooting, as well as allowing for a better bokeh (out of focus) effect.
Other camera specs weren’t revealed, but we’re expecting to see a 16-megapixel shooter with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization and more. The LG G4 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, 3GB RAM and a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor. Long story short, we’re looking at a beast of a phone. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the G4 can live up to the high bar that the company set last year with the widely-praised G3.
The official event may not be until April 28, but watch the teaser video below and keep checking back in for more coverage of rumors, leaks and teasers.
