The new Google Photos app is now available on Google Play, but if you’re looking to access the service to through photos.google.com, you may need to wait just a little bit longer. The website is available for some users, while others are being to a splash page that asks them to check back soon. Google Photos isn’t dramatically different than Google+ Photos, but Google is now giving everyone unlimited storage for images up to 16 megapixels and 1080p video, allowing you to store your entire image and video library in Google’s cloud storage.

Our favorite new features that Google Photos offers are the organization and searching capabilities. Google Photos will organize your images by time, but it will also analyze your images and organizes them by people, places or things. If you’re looking for a specific type of image, just use the search box.

Head on over to Google Play to download google Photos and be sure to leave us a comment to let us know what you like about the new app.
