Hot on the heels of news that Apple is going to be completely redesigning its Apple Music service, the company has announced today that students can now get 50 percent off the music streaming service, bringing the monthly total down to $5.
You may be asking why an Android fan like yourself should care about this news, but let’s not forget that Apple Music is available on Android, and it is home to more and more exclusive album launches these days.
The 50 percent discount is available to students across multiple countries including the US, Australia, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and the UK. If you’re already an Apple Music subscriber, switching to a student plan should be a relatively painless process.
We’re curious, what music streaming service do you use on Android? Are you a fan of Apple Music, have you gone Google’s route or is Spotify still your service of choice?
