Facebook Messenger once again gets SMS support

Facebook Messenger SMS

Remember back when Facebook Messenger was young and it offered an SMS feature? You could have Facebook messaging and texting in one app, floating above your screen using chat heads. Unfortunately, the SMS feature was removed from the app due to low adoption rates.

Thankfully, Facebook is reintroducing the feature, but it’s better this time around. On top of regular SMS, you’ll be able to send stickers, voice clips, and locations through the app. And just like before, you can use SMS with chat heads.

The update to the app is rolling out in most countries today, so keep an eye out for the update and let us know how the new feature is working out for you!
