While HTC revealed the U Ultra earlier this year, a flagship device on its own, the company has maintained expectations that another premiere handset could see the light of day this year. That day might come sooner rather than later.
As TechRadar reports, HTC Taiwan has taken to its Facebook page to tease a reveal for March 20. The teaser image says that “Spring is coming” and adds that “HTC will give you an unexpected surprise.”
The teaser image doesn’t provide any other details, but the rumor mill is suggesting that we could see the HTC 11 unveiled on March 20, which is only five days away. If that is indeed the case, HTC has done a solid job of keeping the handset under wraps until its big reveal date, so props to them.
Whenever it is revealed, one of the highlights of the HTC 11 will likely be the processor, which could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 if the rumors work out. That’s the same chipset that’s rumored to be coming in the Samsung Galaxy S8.
So, how about a new HTC flagship this year? You in the market?
