For what work you purchased an Android Device ?

I was just thinking that Android has a lot of features , so Which Feature or you need’s attracted you to purchase an Android device ?

I chose android compared to apple because I can easily access all of my files.

    Playing with my friends iphones I find Siri quite useless besides messing around.
    Google Now voice search is better imo though I still find voice search not ideal and obnoxious unless driving.

First of all, I rely on Google apps heavily ,gmail,picasa,youtube,gtalk, maps and the found the whole integration with your Google account cool. Plus it was so fun after boring old iOS .
It was refreshing and liberating :-)

Why I choose Android.

I was flooded out of my house and lost everything in June 2008. I needed connectivity. I needed a way to email people and get access from the internet on the go. I had no home, and no computer. I seen the commercial for the G1. What sold me was the street view ad. I could have gotten the iPhone, but I wanted the physical keyboard and something different. I knew Android would be big. I wanted to get in at the bottom level. So i got two G1′s for my lady and me in Oct when they released. Never looked back.

I don’t think I could have done what I did without having a smart phone. I mean i probably could have, but it would have been much more difficult.

Android integrates with my workplace network without any issues. Setting up my tablet on the secure network took all of five minutes. After the setup, I have been able to connect almost instantly ever time.

Setting up an iPad takes several hours and even then connecting to the network is not consistent and frequent loss of connection if you do manage to connect.

Also there are more available apps that are useful to me on Android at lower prices.

  exactly even i use vpn’s and setting it is a breeze .and andoid apps are well priced..

At my university you can choose between programing for Android or the iPhone. Other then that I love how my LG 4x HD looks like and using android ics is a joy in every way.

I was hooked on Android from the eaaaaaarly demo video with the spnning globe years ago. Handful of friends had iPhones and the interface just didn’t interest me for a phone despite having an iTouch. From the video till I got my OG, i had a Treo 700wx and LG Rumor(still best physical keyboard ever).

Google pretty much owns my soul, with a piece given to Amazon as well.

My job actually promotes the android devices to us because of the compatability with our systems…they actually suggest not to use apple products because some of our systems will not work with their products….but I have had Android products for about 6 years now and I love them because of the ease of use!! Currently using the Galaxy S3!!

The tightly integrated and connected Google ecosystem. It all works together so seamlessly on an android device. That’s the most compelling reason that keeps me with Android.

I just love how it works with just about everything. If you need something specific it is pretty easy to make an app to fit your needs and install it without having to go through an app store.
