Privacy guard formally incognito mode arrives tonight

For anyone using the CM nightly Privacy guard arrives tonight.

From with the app settings under info we will be able to personalise what apps can see.

Personally I think this will be a great addition and see it being widely available almost everywhere soon. Apart from carrier branded devices.

What do you guys think?

Here’s a link to CyanogenMod’s G+ page on the merge. I think when the privacy guard lands on your particular device depends on you device’s CM developers.

I’m currently running the CM10.1 release but may jump back on the nightlies to try this. Has anyone tried it out yet? What are your thoughts?

    Fixed the link thanks.

I’ve been using it since it arrived, and it’s just a tick box with the app info page with in the settings. App I now test out that isn’t a vital app, or if if I just don’t reel it needs access I just tick the box in settings/apps/app info.

It could be doing sod all for all I know lol.

I’m using note2 on the 10.1nightlies at the moment.
